AKTEM has backed a new content creator-driven race day at Craon Racecourse in 2027. The initiative aims to contribute to the revitalisation of horse racing and is the brainchild of Noah Khelifi.A racehorse owner alongside his father and a passionate racing enthusiast, Khelifi is an active member of Generation Z who has a strong understanding of the codes and expectations of today's youth. His ambition is to bring together horse racing and the new codes of entertainment, drawing on content creators capable of generating very large audiences.Khelifi said, “The concept is based on eight teams, each represented by a content creator, who will compete throughout a day across several races. The event will take place physically atCraon Racecourse, but it will also be developed in advance so that the content creators can discover the behind-the-scenes world of racing alongside industry professionals, develop a genuine passion for the sport and share the experience with their respective communities. It creates a virtuous circle: not only will this introduce horse racing to a large young audience, but it will also give them the opportunity to experience it live and in person during a day dedicated entirely to this objective.“The real gap between horse racing and younger generations is not sporting, but media-related and narrative-driven.
