In-browser PDF merge & split that never uploads your files (137 free tools, no sign-up) :)

Wait 5 sec.

I run a small portal of free, no-sign-up tools — 137 of them now. This week's build is a PDF merge & split that runs entirely in your browser. The bit I care most about is the privacy part: it uses pdf-lib, so it parses and rebuilds the pages on your device. Your files, filenames, and the merged PDF never get uploaded — from my experience most free PDF sites quietly ship your document to their server, and this one doesn't. There's no account, no quota, no 3-files-a-day limit; the only ceiling is your device's memory. It does two things. One: merge several PDFs in the exact order you set (drag a row, or use the keyboard). Two: extract a page range — e.g. save pages 3-5 of a long doc as their own file. One honest caveat: rebuilding a PDF from its pages can drop digital signatures, form fields, and metadata, so verify the output before you sign or file anything important. Happy to answer questions if you want to dig into how the client-side part works :) Try it by yourself here: https://appdoesit.com/apps/pdf-merge-split submitted by /u/paq85 [link] [comments]
