After 9 months of night shift on med surg as a new grad I landed this beautiful job as an RN in a urology clinic. I love my coworkers and I love my patients. We have 2 doctors, one of which is out this month on medical leave due to an injury that will affect their ability to continue working if it is not treated properly. Today the OTHER doctor came in to let us know they are leaving in February. It is the right decision for them and is honestly an opportunity they could not refuse, but the future of this clinic is questionable at best. There is talk of another physician within the practice moving, but who knows? Who knows if the other provider will even be able to return? Who knows if RN's will be needed? Im more or less ranting to a community that can understand. I left bedside with joy, but the nightmares stayed. I recognize i was not cut out for it. I can't go back. I won't go back. Thank you for listening. submitted by /u/KoraKandoma [link] [comments]
