Hi everyone! We’re two founders developing FAT DOG, a new Scottish sauce brand launching with HEAVY hot sauce and BRAW HONEY BBQ. We’re looking for a student designer, recent graduate or emerging creative who’d be interested in collaborating with us on our bottle packaging as a pro bono portfolio project. We already have a brand direction, colour palette and an original basset-hound mascot. We want to develop a distinctive, cohesive label design that brings the brand to life on real bottles, including front and back labels for both sauces. In return, we can offer: A real project for your portfolio, with credit for your work. The opportunity to see your designs progress towards a product launch. Clear feedback, communication and an agreed brief. Permission to showcase the finished work in your portfolio, subject to our agreement. And we’re happy to send you a bottle of the finished product! We’re a small, early-stage business, so we don’t currently have a design budget. We completely understand that unpaid work isn’t right for everyone, and there’s absolutely no expectation for anyone to take this on. We’re particularly interested in people studying graphic design, branding or packaging, or recent graduates looking for a real-world project.
