Hey everyone, I'm looking to commission an artist to make a new logo for a podcast I run. We already have a logo, but I'm looking to give it a fresh look. Honestly, I'm not coming into this with a specific design in mind. I'd rather find an artist whose work I really like and let them do their thing. I think people do their best work when they're able to create in their own style instead of having someone micromanage every little detail. I'm giving whoever I hire pretty much full creative freedom to take the project wherever they want with it. I'd love to see what someone comes up with when they're given the room to be creative. Of course, this is paid work. Let me know what you typically charge for a project like this. I'm happy to check out different artists and see what makes sense. If you're interested, drop your portfolio or some examples of your work along with your usual rates. I'd rather take my time finding someone whose art really clicks with me than rush into hiring someone. Also, just to be clear, I'm not asking anyone to make free samples or come up with concepts for me upfront. I'd prefer to find someone based on the work they've already done and then pay them to create something new. Thanks!
