A little while ago I shared Lumabook here, and the feedback was incredibly useful. The biggest criticism was that AI gets sloppy. I’ve worked on reducing that. It’s not gone, but I think it’s noticeably better and should keep improving. Lumabook now has 5 books: The Odyssey — only the first 2 books for now. If people like experiencing it this way, I’ll add the rest. The Jungle Book — for younger readers to explore the jungle alongside Mowgli and its wild, lovable characters. The Fall of the House of Usher — slow-burn horror and atmosphere. The Ramayana — the great Indian epic of dharma overcoming adharma. Sherlock Holmes — rainy Victorian London and mysteries alongside Holmes. Coming next: A Christmas Carol and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland! A few people also asked about the cost of generating all this. I've significantly optimized the engine and brought production costs down enough that I've decided to keep Lumabook completely free for the foreseeable future. Try them here: https://lumabook.ai Would love another round of feedback — which book works best in this format, and what books would you love to see brought to life next? submitted by /u/yahska111 [link] [comments]
