We're currently looking for a talented and passionate Graphic Design Generalist to join us and help shape the visual identity of both our game and our studio. We'd love to find a creative collaborator who genuinely enjoys fantasy and dark fantasy aesthetics, understands visual storytelling, and wants to help bring a growing indie project to life. What would you be working on? Your responsibilities would involve a variety of creative and promotional materials, including: Typography & Visual Identity: Developing distinctive typography, graphical elements, layouts, and visual identities that fit Dawnfall's fantasy universe. Pitch Decks & Presentations: Helping us design professional, visually compelling presentations for publishers, investors, and potential partners. Logos & Branding: Creating or refining logos, graphical assets, and branding elements for the game and our studio. Devlogs & Community Content: Designing templates, banners, graphics, and layouts for our development updates and social media communications. Kickstarter Campaign: Helping us create an attractive, cohesive, and immersive visual presentation for our upcoming crowdfunding campaign. Steam Page: Working on promotional assets, banners, capsules, and other graphical materials for our Steam presence. General Graphic Design: Supporting the team with various creative needs as Dawnfall continues to grow. You'll be working with an existing artistic direction, alongside our artists and developers, while also having the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and creative vision. Who are we looking for? Ideally, someone who: Has a strong portfolio showcasing graphic design, typography, composition, and visual identity work. Has a genuine appreciation for fantasy, medieval fantasy, and dark fantasy aesthetics. Is comfortable working across different formats, from presentation layouts to marketing materials. Has a good eye for consistency, readability, and visual storytelling. Is creative, communicative, reliable, and comfortable collaborating with a small independent team. Enjoys video games, particularly RPGs and narrative-driven experiences. Experience working in the video game industry, particularly with indie studios, would be a huge plus, but it's not mandatory. We value original, human-made creative work. We're not looking for AI-generated artwork or designs. Compensation & Collaboration Our current budget for this position is €1,000–€2,000 per month, depending on experience, availability, and the scope of our collaboration. We're flexible regarding the working arrangement and would be happy to discuss a structure that works for both sides. We're also open to discussing a hybrid compensation arrangement combining a monthly payment with revenue sharing, for someone who would prefer a longer-term involvement in the project and believes in its potential. Revenue sharing is entirely optional and would be negotiated transparently. while we don't have the resources of a large publisher, we're serious about building something meaningful and creating long-term relationships with the people who contribute to it.
