BTCUSDT 1D: Correction Targets the 75,000-77,400 Reload ZoneBTCUSDT SPOTBYBIT:BTCUSDTTheChartWhisperrUpdate on the BTCUSDT thread, zoomed out to the daily, where the structure is easiest to count. The advance from the July low is a clean five-wave impulse. Wave 1 ran from about 58,000 to 67,000. Wave 2 pulled back to roughly 62,300. Wave 3 was the long expansion to about 82,000, around twice the length of wave 1. Wave 4 corrected to roughly 75,000 without touching wave 1 territory, and wave 5 topped near 87,400. Every rule holds. A five-wave advance is followed by a correction, and corrections often come back to the area of the previous fourth wave. The tape since the top says that correction is underway. Price has broken down through the 83,000 area it had held for a week and a half. The current daily candle opened near 83,325, wicked to 80,394, and sits near 81,850 with its close still ahead. Volume across the last two daily candles is above its average, so this selling has volume behind it. That fits a correction that isn't finished, and it argues against calling a bottom here. My working count has A near 80,400, a bounce toward the 83,000 to 84,000 area as B, and C into support. Three things stack between 75,000 and 77,400: the point of control, the widest part of the profile, near 77,400, the monthly support line at 76,338, and the wave 4 low near 75,000. The wider read I'm working with is that dominance keeps weakening, which would let ETH and alts outperform while BTC corrects and reloads. Nothing on this chart confirms that, so it's a premise, not a result. If BTC dominance turns up, that premise is the first thing to go. Under the Continuation Acceleration Protocol (CAP), gate one, structure, is the five-wave count, which holds while price stays above the wave 1 high near 67,000. Gate two, the zone, is 75,000 to 77,400. Gate three, the trigger, is NOT confirmed. Price hasn't reached the zone, and A isn't final until a bounce proves it. Once price gets there, I'm looking for a CHoCH on a lower timeframe and a reclaim. Weight goes on the retest, not on the first bounce candle. What confirms the reload is that sequence, then a new daily high above 87,400, which starts the next advance. What invalidates it is a daily close below the wave 4 low near 75,000 that fails to reclaim, which means the correction is running deeper than the zone allows for. A close below 67,000 would say the whole advance was corrective. Reloads get made at levels chosen before the pullback starts. This one is already on the chart.
