Side project: MCP gateway that returns the original receipt on same-key retry instead of charging twice

Wait 5 sec.

I am a solo, non technical founder in Pasadena. Since February I've been building AMW (Agent Middleware), a governed MCP gateway for agent tool calls that matter. What it does: agents act under a permit; a same-key retry returns the original receipt, no second call or charge. Each call gets a signed receipt. Overview: thisisatest.tech. Repo is private for now. Honest status: self funded, no seed, no revenue, no users yet. I'm looking for a technical cofounder (equity, short trial, written terms, no salary until a raise) and for a few people who will try it and be blunt. Specific ask: Is the problem clear from the site, or does it read like security theater? If you build agents, would you try a one tool pilot, and what would block you? Happy to answer anything in the comments. Feedback welcome even if the answer is "skip this". submitted by /u/HotPocketWaves [link] [comments]
