One edited cell can turn a tidy README table into a wall of uneven pipes. I maintain Markdown Table Editor, an open-source plugin for people who write Markdown in Notepad++ on Windows. It handles the repetitive table editing inside the editor: Keep pipe tables aligned automatically after edits. Sort by the current column; move, insert, or delete rows and columns. Convert selected CSV/TSV, or the current data block, into a Markdown table. Fit wide tables to the editor width by wrapping and rejoining cell content. For example, select this CSV: text Name,Score Anna,10 Then run Plugins > Markdown Table Editor > Convert CSV/TSV to table. You get a Markdown table with Name and Score columns without copying the data into another tool. Install version 11.2.0: Plugins > Plugins Admin > Available > Markdown Table Editor. Builds are available for x86, x64, and ARM64; the source is GPLv3. See the before/after demo and source on GitHub. submitted by /u/Kreout [link] [comments]
