Asim Munir drags Pakistaninto the Saudi- Houthi war under the Mecca pact without consulting the country's political leadership

Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir has agreed to deploy troops to Mecca pact ally Saudi Arabia in addition to 8,000 troops already in the Kingdom without consulting the country's political leadership. The decision comes after Pakistan intially refused to get involved in the fight against Houthis a position taken by the country's parliament in a unanimous vote in 2015.
