Hey everyone! Over the summer, my team and I built Novus, a business simulation game where you can experience what it's like to build and run your own company without risking any real money. We realized that learning entrepreneurship is a lot like learning to ride a bike. You can read every book and watch every tutorial about cycling, but you won't actually learn until you get on a bike and start pedaling. We wanted to bring that same hands-on approach to entrepreneurship. So we wanted to build something that feels more like a game than a business course. Here's how it works: Start and grow your own virtual business Make decisions about pricing, marketing, finances, and strategy Deal with challenges and see how your decisions affect your company Learn business concepts through trial and error instead of lectures It's similar to like a blend between BitLife and entrepreneurship. We originally started building Novus during a California-based startup accelerator and actually won the Best Startup award, and we've been continuing to improve it since. It's still an early-stage project, and there's a lot we want to add, but we're really excited about where it's going. You can check it out here: https://novuspitch.com I'd genuinely love some feedback, especially on the gameplay, UI, and whether this is something you'd actually use. Also, if you've built something similar or have experience with simulation games, I'd love to hear what you learned! Thanks for checking it out! submitted by /u/Haunting-Penalty-681 [link] [comments]
