[US, Philadelphia area, PA] Microphone mount prototype, 2 parts

Wait 5 sec.

Hi everyone, I’ve got a 2-piece assembled part that I’m planning to have CNC’d, but since the cost will be high, I’d like to get a sense of the sizes and shapes in person before going ahead with that. I’m fairly new to CAD, and while the design has been approved by the CNC company, I’m sure there will be things that need to change a bit to make it able to be 3D printed, so happy to make adjustments to the file for whatever is needed. Also this is just for checking sizes/rough hinge clearances, so I know threads and holes in multiple orientations on a single part won’t be strong, or necessarily clean, and that’s okay. I’d love to have it printed in gray, black, or white, and ideally a material that has a bit of strength to it, and dimensionally accurate to whatever degree is reasonably possible. Apologies for being new to this, and I’ll do whatever I can to make the process easier. Thank you! submitted by /u/jessegimbel [link] [comments]
