MyCredit and Volcanova Africa Limited officials after inking the dealMyCredit Limited, a licensed Digital Credit Provider (DCP) and Volcanova Africa Limited, a prominent clean energy solutions provider, have officially announced a joint partnership to transition schools from traditional wood fuel to clean Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) powered cookers.The LPG-powered cookers project officially launched at Nairobi’s Fadhili Junior School. Through this initiative, MyCredit and Volcanova Africa successfully transformed the school’s cooking facilities by completely renovating the kitchen space and installing large-scale, high-efficiency institutional LPG cookers.This partnership will address a widespread national challenge: the reliance on wood fuel that exposes kitchen staff and students to toxic particulate matter. The project directly combats that threat by aiming to eliminate hazardous indoor air pollution, reduce school operational costs, and halt institutional firewood consumption that drives local deforestation.Speaking at the MOU signing, MyCredit Limited’s Managing Director, Mr. Wangaruro Mbira, stated, “We are proud to partner with Volcanova Africa to bring clean cooking infrastructure directly to the heart of the education system.
