BadHabits Bank - earn fictional money from good habits, spend it on bad ones

Wait 5 sec.

I built a habit app around a simple idea: good habits earn fictional money, and bad habits spend it. Checking a box doesn't always give me a reason to choose studying over another movie. I wanted to make that tradeoff more concrete. For example, I can price studying at $10 per hour and a movie at $25. That means earning the movie takes 2.5 hours of studying. Everyone sets their own activities and prices. It's entirely manual. No app blocking or checking whether you actually did something. You choose what to track. It's available on Android and iPhone, free with no active ads, subscriptions or purchases. Records stay on the device, with manual backup and restore and no account registration. iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/badhabits-bank/id6800151821 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.badhabitsbank.app Does setting your own prices make the idea more useful, or would figuring out those prices put you off trying it? submitted by /u/Medical-Bend-9492 [link] [comments]
