We all want to take matters into our own hands when dealing with an insufferable person on a flight. This is exactly what this man did when he shared his own flight experience on TikTok. Demetrius Fields, who goes by @demetriusfield, posted a video detailing what his seatmate did to him and how he got his revenge—which involves the guy’s Steven Spielberg experience with Disclosure Day. “I just did the pettiest thing I think I’ve ever done,” Fields said. According to Fields, the man next to him spilled his water on him as the flight attendant collected trash. The man saw the spill, but he didn’t even apologize. “He saw that it spilled, and then he looked at me. He doesn’t say, ‘I’m sorry.’ He goes, ‘It’s water.’ Motherf——. I don’t give a f— what is made up. Why did you make me wet? Apologize. What’s wrong with you?” Fields said. This incident really annoyed him. The guy got his ‘FAFO’ moment When Fields’ seatmate got up to go to the bathroom, he found a perfect opportunity for revenge. Fields discovered that his seatmate was watching Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, and he found out which part of the movie he was at. “I loaded up on my screen 15 minutes farther into the movie than he was,” he said. @demetriusfields♬ original sound – Demetrius fields Fields was intentionally trying to ruin and spoil the movie for his seatmate, and it was going well. “I’m spoiling his movie actively. He doesn’t even know it at first,” Fields continued. He said it took the man about 15 minutes to realize what actually happened. “He noticed, and I could tell it ruined Disclosure Day. Sorry, Steven Spielberg,” Viewers in the comments sided with Fields, tipping their hats off for his pettiness. One commenter said, “Diabolical. I’m proud of you though.” “This is actually genius,” another wrote. Other commenters also shared what they would’ve done in that situation. “I would’ve spilled water on his seat and said ‘it’s water'” one wrote. “If I accidentally spilled water on someone I would apologize profusely and be anxious the rest of the flight thinking they hate me,” another added. Flying can be stressful for most people, especially when dealing with issues like cancellations, delays, extra fees, long security lines, and cramped seats. Encountering even one annoying passenger can ruin a flight experience. Occasionally, someone like Fields ensures an especially bothersome passenger is on board.
