Tragically, we bought our first home a couple of months ago, moved in and within the first month started noticing bites after waking up. After finding a bed bug yesterday, a pest control inspected today and confirmed an infestation. Absolutely livid as all our furniture is new including carpets, but his theory is that due to the extensive infestation of the headboard the bugs would have already been there as we were getting bitten within a month.
