I'm looking for someone to do some cold calling for a small advertising business I'm starting in various suburbs in Australia. The job is pretty straightforward. I'll give you a list of local businesses to call (cafes, restaurants, gyms, barbers, beauty businesses etc.) along with a script and everything you need to know about what we're offering. I'm not expecting you to actually close sales over the phone. The goal is to get through to the owner/manager, give them a quick explanation of what we're doing and see if they're interested. If they are, you'll confirm their email and let them know I'll send them some more information. I'll take over from there and handle everything. I'll provide: The businesses to call A script/talking points Answers to common questions/objections A spreadsheet to keep track of calls An Australian business number to make the calls from I'm going to start with a paid trial of 50 businesses. Pay is $75 AUD for completing the 50-business list + $10 AUD for every qualified interested lead. By qualified lead, I mean you've actually spoken to the owner/manager or whoever makes the advertising decisions, they're genuinely interested in hearing more, and they've agreed for me to contact them by email. Just getting an email address or being told to "send something through" by a receptionist won't count as a lead. If you're good at it, there'll be more work after the first 50 businesses and potentially ongoing work as I expand into other areas. You don't need a huge amount of experience, but you do need to speak very good English, be confident talking to business owners and not sound like you're reading word-for-word from a script. Previous cold calling/sales experience is obviously a plus. Calls will need to be made during Adelaide business hours. If you're interested, send me: Where you're based/time zone Any sales or cold calling experience you have A short voice recording introducing yourself Roughly how many calls you'd expect to get through in an hour Cheers. submitted by /u/Jolly_Letterhead_721 [link] [comments]
