Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure continues to attract lengthy queues, regularly exceeding two hours during busy periods. However, by the time Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure eventually reopened, its wait time reportedly hit two hours almost immediately.This follows a period of relative calm for the attraction since it axed its Express Pass offering in July.When Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure opened in 2019, it did so without Universal Express access. As Inside the Magic previously reported, the coaster already regularly attracted multi-hour standby waits due to its popularity and limited capacity. However, the subsequent addition of an Express queue made matters worse for standby guests, with those paying extra able to bypass the lengthy lines.Credit: UniversalIt’s not totally uncommon for the attraction to open later than the rest of the park, experiencing the occasional technical hiccup (as is often the case for more complicated theme park attractions, à la Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance).Fortunately, when Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is closed, there’s plenty left to enjoy in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That includes Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which takes guests on a chaotic adventure through Hogwarts Castle (which recently received a divisive repaint), and Flight of the Hippogriff, a family-friendly coaster offering views of Hogsmeade.Guests can also explore the shops of Hogsmeade, grab a (non-alcoholic) Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks or Hog’s Head, and watch live performances from the Frog Choir and Triwizard Spirit Rally.
