Hey everyone! My app Facet just went live on the App Store. It’s the first app I’ve ever built and released, so I’m kinda nervous and really excited to share it here. From the first day I owned my Vision Pro (Day 1 M2 user here) what blew me away most was viewing 3D models in the room and seeing them at up close honestly felt like magic. But the preview mode pulling out models from your files felt clunky to this day and I could never find an app that did it the way I wanted: put out a bunch of models, arrange them how I like, and come back to them later. So I finally built it myself. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/3d-model-viewer-facet/id6818597684 Features: Import your own USDZ and Reality files from Files Place several models at once. Pinch to move, use both hands to rotate and scale, or view them at actual size Group models, lock them in place, and use the inspector for exact positioning View them in your own room with passthrough, or in one of the included immersive environments (Museum, Gallery, Deep Space, Synthwave, Zen Garden and more to come in future builds) Free camera mode lets you fly around your scene in full immersion using just your hands Save whole scenes and pick up right where you left off No account and no data collected. Your models stay on your device It’s free to download. The free version lets you place up to 5 models, keep 1 saved scene and explore the immersive environments. It comes with sample models (including pieces from The British Museum) so you can try it right away, even if you don’t have any saved models yet. There’s a one-time unlock (Standard Full, $19.99) or a 6 month Pro subscription ($9.99), which also gets you every future feature and environment. Launch day giveaway: I have 10 free promo codes for launch day for the full standard app. Comment below if you'd like one and I’ll DM codes to the first 10. If you get the chance to try it, I’d love any feedback, good or bad: bugs, feature ideas, anything that felt confusing, and things you'd like to see. I’m reading every comment. Thank you for checking it out! submitted by /u/kaliwe88 to r/VisionPro [link] [comments]
