I never got to say goodbye to my grandparents, so I'm building a better way to remember people (and pets)

Wait 5 sec.

My grandpa passed away in Hong Kong in 1999. My grandma passed during COVID. I never got to say a final goodbye to either of them. What my family has left is scattered: a few photos on different phones, stories only some of us remember, nothing that brings it all together. When I asked friends, almost everyone had the same story, and it was often worse with pets. A dog who was family for 14 years ends up as a few photos buried in a camera roll. So I'm building Relived: one lasting place for the people and pets you love, with photos, videos, voice and stories, built together by family and friends. You can see what we're building at Relived.com We're early, bootstrapped, and based in Calgary. I'm building a small Founding Circle of people who'll shape what we build next. It's free, and you get new features first and Founding Circle pricing. If you've lost someone, person or pet, I'd really value 3 minutes of your time: Founding Circle- 2 min Survey And honest question for this sub: what would make you trust a company with something this personal? submitted by /u/jombolio [link] [comments]
