Manjunath announced in Hubballi on Saturday.The film producer, who, along with the lead actor Ganesh, the director, and others of the cast, was in Hubballi on Saturday to take part in a pre-release event, announced that the decision was taken after due consideration.He said that at a time when the Kannada film ‘Premada Oorali’, made by newcomers, was doing well at the box office, they did not want to clash with it and affect its theatrical run. At a time when Kannada filmdom was facing a dearth of hits, clashing with its theatrical run would be wrong, he said, adding that the film would continue to do well.Actor Ganesh said he had personally been involved in promoting the film and had agreed to the proposal to postpone its release.He described his role as Madhava as one of his favourite characters and said audiences would see a new avatar of him in ‘Brinda Vihari’.Director Srinivasa Raju said the film was a musical love story and that the makers wanted to ensure a proper theatrical release. He said the film featured several newcomers and stressed the importance of planning its release to avoid competition for screens that would inevitably affect the collections of another film by newcomers, which was running successfully.Music composer and singer Hesham Abdul Wahab, who has predominantly worked in Malayalam and Telugu cinema, has composed the music for the film. He said the five songs in the film had already received a good response on digital platforms, and one of the songs, ‘Radha Radha’, had crossed 11 million views online.Female leads Devika Bhat and Malavika Sharma shared their experience during the making of the film.Produced by Samruddhi V. Manjunath under the Kevin Productions and Virat Sai Creations banners, the film has Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila and Achyuth Kumar in supporting roles. Kevin Productions is handling the film’s distribution in Karnataka.
