GOLD – WEEKLY CHART LONG TERM MARKET ANALYSIS & UPDATEGoldOANDA:XAUUSDGoldviewfxHey Everyone, Following on from our previous Weekly Goldturn Route Map, we have now seen another important development around the lower boundary of our proprietary ascending weekly channel. As highlighted in our previous report, price had broken below the channel floor while the weekly EMA5 remained within the channel structure. We explained why this distinction was important and why we were not prepared to conclude that the ascending channel had broken down. The reaction from 4082 Goldturn has now reinforced the importance of our original analysis. Price moved outside the weekly channel and tested the 4082 Goldturn support region, which delivered the anticipated support bounce. That recovery has now brought price back towards the underside of our ascending weekly channel, where the channel floor is being tested as resistance. This is a significant technical development as we prepare for the week ahead. WEEK AHEAD - OUR GOLDTURN ROUTE MAP 1. CHANNEL FLOOR – THE KEY BATTLE Our immediate focus is now on the weekly channel floor. Having previously acted as support, the channel floor has become resistance following the move outside the structure. We now need to see whether price can reclaim this boundary and, importantly, establish a weekly candle body close back inside the channel. A successful reclaim would strengthen the case that the move below the channel was a temporary overshoot rather than a confirmed structural breakdown. A weekly close back inside the channel would put our original ascending weekly structure firmly back into focus, as ema5 also remians wihtin the channel. The behaviour of the weekly EMA5 will also remain important in confirming the strength of any recovery. 2. BULLISH ROUTE – RE-ESTABLISHING THE ASCENDING CHANNEL Should price successfully reclaim the channel floor and establish itself back inside the structure, our attention will return to the upside Goldturn levels. Our wider weekly route remains unchanged: - 4406 Goldturn – First major upside level on our radar. - 4731 Goldturn – Next higher-range objective should the ascending structure continue developing. - 5104 Goldturn – Our longer-term higher-range Goldturn level. As highlighted on our chart, a weekly candle body close or EMA5 lock above 4336 would also open the channel half-line route towards 4731 Goldturn. However, the first task is to reclaim the channel floor. We do not want to get ahead of the market. 3. BEARISH ROUTE – FAILURE TO RECLAIM THE CHANNEL If the channel floor continues to reject price and we fail to establish a weekly close back inside, the market could remain vulnerable to another downside rotation. In this scenario, 4082 Goldturn remains our key support level. A further test of 4082 would allow us to assess whether buyers are continuing to defend this region or whether the market is preparing for a deeper structural correction. A sustained break below 4082, particularly with the weekly EMA5 confirming weakness outside the channel, would require us to reassess the broader ascending structure. OUR WEEKLY OUTLOOK For now, our analysis remains consistent with the route map shared previously. 4082 Goldturn has delivered the support reaction outside the channel, and price is now challenging the channel floor from below. This is exactly why we emphasise the importance of combining our proprietary Goldturn channels with the EMA5 rather than reacting to every temporary move outside a trend boundary. The next important confirmation is not simply a bounce, but whether price can reclaim and close back inside the ascending weekly channel. If successful, the wider ascending route towards 4406, 4731 and eventually 5104 Goldturn remains firmly on our long term radar. If rejected, we continue respecting 4082 as our major downside reference. Our Weekly Goldturn Route Map provides the broader market direction, while our 4H and 1H charts will continue helping us navigate the swings and identify opportunities within that structure. We will keep you updated as the weekly picture develops. M Gold
