I've been a nurse for 16 years. Been away from the bedside for 12. I'm tired of not earning my full potential, but I haven't been hands on for so long that I don't know where to start. I'm not exactly looking to go back to bedside, and I like having weekends and holidays off. Currently working case management working from home. (Sounds like the dream job, I know, but the pay is lower.) Any suggestions on getting myself back into the hospital setting? I've interviewed for a few Nurse Navigator positions affiliated with hospitals, but not been chosen. I'm pending an interview with a hospital for case manager. Would definitely be giving up some weekend and holidays for that. Not sure if it's worth it. submitted by /u/Stunning-Character94 [link] [comments]
