I built DeadlinePilot, a free invoice due date and business day calculator for six countries (US, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada), with public holidays and weekends handled per country. Ireland and NZ are the ones most competing tools skip, which is why I included them. I built it with Bolt.new and deployed on Netlify. For a while, Google Search Console showed almost nothing indexed. The cause: the app used hash-based routing (/#/page), so Google effectively saw a single page. All my content pages were invisible. What I did: Migrated to real path-based routing Added a Netlify _redirects SPA fallback so direct URLs don't 404 Resubmitted the sitemap and requested indexing on the stragglers Numbers since the fix (roughly 3 months): Indexed pages went from 1 to 29 About 13k impressions, but only 19 clicks (CTR around 0.15%, average position ~60) The pages that actually get clicks are the plain calculators, not the explainer guides, which rank for informational queries nobody clicks through from So the technical problem is solved, and now I'm learning that being indexed and being found are very different things. I'm thinking about a bulk CSV version (upload a list of invoices, get all due dates back). Would that be useful to you, or is the single calculator enough? submitted by /u/Charming-Barber-5533 [link] [comments]
