Battlesheets - free, zero install tool that turns your complex characters into a single printable sheet

Wait 5 sec.

Hey Folks, I was overwhelmed by the sprawl of character sheets and spells to keep track of in pen and paper DnD. I wanted to be faster in combat and take away from the immersion for myself or my party, so I created Battlesheets a few months ago and I've been improving on it regularly. I think it's ready to share with you all (though not perfect so please share any feedback you have). I've shared it around a bit and gotten positve feedback from DMs, new players, experienced players, and my wife whose direct quote was "don't you just go around killing each other?" It’s a tool that requires zero installation for public characters and only a bookmarklet for private characters. It reads the data of your DnD Beyond character and arranges it on a sheet automatically or enables you to customize it extensively via an interactive layout builder. Battlesheets categorize all the things you can do during a turn (attacks, spells, items, features) into Action/Bonus action/Reaction/Passives so you can see at one glance what you can do. You can add color coding and custom text to every skill to draw your eyes to the things you use the most, or remind yourself not to forget you have an active reaction (looking at you, Wrath of the Storm)! Limited use resources and abilities have check boxes and refresh policies to help you seamlessly manage your action economy. The tool uses raw data and pattern recognition and should work for both first party and third party content from any edition, but most of the testing has been focused on 5.5 official content. If you notice any bugs please report them here or in the discord that’s linked on the website. (Huge shout out to u/agmilky for exhaustive testing across dozens of items and 100+ subclasses - the tool would be nowhere close to where it is today without your meticulous validation and encyclopedic knowledge - nat20 on INT!) Check it out! I hope it helps you! submitted by /u/play-stack to r/dndbeyond [link] [comments]
