Daniel Levy’s stake in ENIC, the parent company that owns Tottenham Hotspur, continues to dwindle since he left his role as Spurs chairman over 12 months ago.Levy previously held a 29.88 per cent share in ENIC, the company which in turn held 86.91 per cent of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. However, since then, we have seen the Lewis family inject equity into Tottenham multiple times, which has helped cover the club’s operating costs and aided them in spending big sums on new first-team players.IncomingsAndrew RobertsonFreeMarcos SenesiFreeMartin DubravkaFreeJan Paul van Hecke£52mMateus Fernandes£85mSandro Tonali£100mSavinho£85mOmar Marmoush£60mTosin Adarabioyo£12mMykhailo MudrykLoanTotal spent£394mOutgoingsLuka Vuskovic£50mWill Lankshear£20mRadu Dragusin£21mAlejo Veliz£7.7mAlfie Devine£6mTynan Thompson£8mManor Solomon£7mCristian Romero£34.1mAshley Phillips£20mDjed Spence£30mKevin Danso£25mPape Matar Sarr£25.6mTotal received£254.8mTottenham’s net spend£139.2mThe cash injections have also had another effect: diluting Levy’s shares in Tottenham’s owners, ENIC.Credit: @harryphoto.kr / InstagramFormer Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy now owns just 25 per cent of ENICFootball.London have now revealed that the Lewis family’s latest investment into Spurs is worth £120m, and this has had the effect of shrinking the former Tottenham chairman’s shares further.Overall, the Lewis family have injected a total of £320m into the North London club over the past 12 months. As a result, their stake in the club has increased to 89.06 per cent.Levy was given the chance to match the cash boost relative to his ownership level, but the former Spurs supremo did not take up the opportunity, which means his shares in ENIC have dropped from above 29 per cent to just 25 per cent. The club’s investor relations page on their website reads: “Of the total issued ordinary share capital of Tottenham Hotspur Limited, ENIC Sports, Inc. ownership is 89.06% (from 88.30%) to reflect shares allotted in September 2026. ENIC also owns one THL convertible A share.“Mr D Levy and certain members of his family are potential beneficiaries of discretionary trusts which ultimately own 25% of the share capital of ENIC. A discretionary trust of which certain members of Mr J Lewis’s family are potential beneficiaries ultimately owns 75% of the share capital of ENIC.”Levy could sell his stake in Spurs to a third partySpurs Web has relayed multiple reports over recent months suggesting that Levy could sell his stake in ENIC, worth around £800m, to a third party. It was subsequently reported by Football Insider that the Lewis family may consider buying Levy’s shares if the buyer identified by the former Spurs chairman is not deemed suitable by the club’s majority owners. However, it is unclear whether such a deal is on the cards, as Bloomberg reported in April that there is a complex civil war ongoing between Levy and the ENIC family. The update suggested the ongoing battle could deter any potential new investors looking to get a stake in Spurs.READ MORE: Tottenham battle Barcelona for Vangelis Pavlidis, could be available at £50m discountThe post Daniel Levy sees his ENIC shares dwindle after Tottenham owners inject £120m appeared first on Spurs Web.
