MRVL: $80B Midpoint Target vs. $47B Estimates — Does the 261 SupMRVLUSDTPERP PERPETUAL MIX CONTRACTBITGET:MRVLUSDT.PAshaaibuA poll of four analysts put Marvell's fiscal 2031 revenue near $47B. Management just pointed to $70–90B. Yet after spiking more than 11% on October 6, price has slipped about 8% from that high. The chart now has to answer one question: does the trend survive the pullback? Why now - At its October 6 Investor Day, Marvell lifted its fiscal 2028 revenue target to about $20B from $18B, above the $18.2B analysts expected. - The new fiscal 2031 range of $70–90B has an $80B midpoint, well above the $46.85B estimate. - The current quarter is guided at $3.15B, plus or minus 5%, which makes it the next scheduled check. What the chart shows Price has climbed along a rising trendline since the early-August low near 160. The October 6 spike reached about 302 before sellers pushed it back to 278. The pullback now sits above a daily support zone at 256–266. The 261 line also marks resting sell-side liquidity, which price can sweep before choosing a direction. The trendline converges with this zone later this month, so this is the area that matters most. Key levels - Resistance: 315–328, where price stalled in June - Support: 256–266 (261.25 marked) - Deeper support: 213–224 (218.38 marked) My read: while the 256–266 zone holds on daily closes, I see this as a test of an intact uptrend, with 315–328 as the next area on the map. Risk view - The stock was reported near 50x projected earnings after the event, so delivery has to keep pace with the new targets. - In the second quarter, one distributor made up 44% of revenue and one direct customer 16%, so a slowdown at either would matter. - Progress toward the $20B fiscal 2028 figure is the nearer-term proof; long-range targets are goals, not results. - Bear path: a daily close below 256 would break the trendline. I'd then watch 261 for a failed retest as resistance, with 218 the next liquidity pool in view. Which side wins depends on how price behaves in that zone. I'll post a follow-up if the picture changes. For educational purposes only. Not investment advice.
