India and ASEAN will hold the next review meeting of their goods trade agreement in January 2027, as both sides push to speed up negotiations on updating the 2009 pact. The joint committee has asked sub-groups to clear pending chapters and work to firm timelines, with ASEAN accounting for about 11% of India’s global trade.
