Only the great Phil Taylor has managed that feat, winning all of his first three appearances in the tournament from 2007 to 2009.It won’t be walk in the park for the World No.1 though, as Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen are among the big names already qualified for the event.Beau Greaves will also be playing, along with World Series winner Ross Smith and World Youth Championship finalists Cam Crabtree and Jan Schmidt.When is the Grand Slam of Darts?The 2026 Grand Slam of Darts takes place from Saturday, November 14 through to Sunday, November 22.It will be held at WV Active Aldersley in Wolverhampton, with the action for the first two days and final day being split across two sessions, starting at 1pm and 7pm/7:30pm. Seeded players will then be drawn into groups in bracket order. There will be 16 groups of three players.The other 32 players will then be split into 17-32 and 33-48 using their PDC rankings before being drawn into a group.A round-robin format is used for the group stage, with the top two of each group making it through to the knockouts.From the last 32 onwards, losing a match sees a player eliminated, with the winner moving on to the next round.Smith is also going to feature after winning the World Series, taking one of the 48 spots in the expanded eventShutterstock EditorialGrand Slam of Darts: Who is playing?A total of 48 players will take part in the Grand Slam of Darts. Finishing second in a group sees a £12,500 prize handed out and it’s just £5,000 for those who finish bottom.
