Sonam Wangchuk condemned the arrests of student and youth leaders, lawyers, journalists and MPs in Delhi, saying peaceful protests should be allowed in a democracy. He warned that he may consider a peaceful protest in Leh or Delhi if the arrests are not withdrawn within 24 hours.
