We built a TV tracker for the two of us. After years on our home server, we’re opening it to everyone.

Wait 5 sec.

Hey Reddit! ScreenTracker started on our couch. We kept forgetting which episode we’d stopped on, which shows we watched together, and which were just one of ours. The trackers we tried started charging, filled up with ads, or shut down. We kept losing our watch history, so we built our own: an engineer with free evenings and his partner with a long list of requests. For years, it ran on a small server in our home, just for us. Then friends started asking to use it because they had the same problem. Now we’re opening it to everyone. ScreenTracker is free, has no ads, and we don’t sell your data. Optional coffee donations help cover the server and domain—everything stays free either way. If you watch several shows, alone or together, we’d love for you to try it and tell us what works or what’s missing. https://screentracker.org From our couch to yours. submitted by /u/BlueberryThin4396 [link] [comments]
