Multiple Group/Grade I hero Magnitude (Not This Time) went through his paces Saturday morning at Keeneland in his continued preparations for the GI Breeders' Cup Classic at the venue later this month.Breezing in company with stablemate Preside (Tiz the Law), and with jockey Flavien Prat in the irons for the first time, the Steve Asmussen-trainee cruised five furlongs in 1:00.60 (2/13) after starting a bit behind his company and finishing the work on even terms at the wire.“Everything went well, good breeze for me to get a feel of him,” said Prat. “I love him. He's a good mover, well balanced and handles everything. It was just a maintenance work and for me to get a feel of him. He did it very well.” Hailing from the barn of Brad Cox, but also clocked in 1:00.60 at the distance, was GSW & GISP Deep Flame (Into Mischief). The Juddmonte homebred was last seen being well-beaten by Englishman (Maxfield) in the GI H. Allen Jerkens Memorial Stakes Aug. 29 at Saratoga. The latter worked Friday morning at Keeneland for Cherie DeVaux.Trainer Joe Sharp sent out a trio of turf workers Saturday morning as well, led by MGSW Possiblemente (Tale of Ekati). The gelding breezed four panels on the grass in :52.60 while his stablemates SW Bohemian (Essential Quality) and Pretty Tapit (Tapit) both posted the same distance in :51.40. Possiblemente won the GII Turf Sprint Stakes at Kentucky Downs Sept. 5 and earned an automatic berth in the GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint.Also going out was Group 1 victor Bacio (Maclean's Music) for trainer Wesley Ward.
