The half-time player ratings for Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League clash against Man United are in as the Lilywhites head into the break drawing 0-0.Tottenham first-half player ratings vs Manchester UnitedAntonin Kinsky – Tested after the half-hour mark following a United break from a corner, but Amad’s effort was tame and straight at him. Aside from that, no real threat. 7.Archie Gray – Defensively, Gray has had little to do as United have offered minimal attacking threat. Offensively, he has looked to join in attacks and found himself in good crossing positions, though his delivery has been lacking. He was better placed to shoot from Savio’s cutback instead of Kudus. 7.Jan Paul van Hecke – His early touches were loose, with a couple of misplaced passes. High up the pitch, he has struggled in duels, with United players finding it easy to bypass him. He did push forward to offer an attacking option in United’s box, but Yoro intercepted before he could capitalise. He has also defended the box well. 7.Marcos Senesi – Brought in for Micky van de Ven, who was not fit to start, Senesi has been positive in possession, often playing accurate passes into attackers’ feet. He has helped Spurs maintain pressure high up the pitch. 8.Destiny Udogie – Made a timely interception early on when United played a cross into the box. Going forward, he has overlapped Savio well, with the pair linking up effectively. 6.Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty ImagesLucas Bergvall – Applied pressure high up the pitch to help Spurs win the ball, which led to their first chance of the game, though Solanke failed to convert. His tenacity has been a bright spark. 7.Sandro Tonali – Operating in a deeper role in the absence of Rodrigo Bentancur, Tonali has looked solid, though United have found some joy in midfield at times. 6.Conor Gallagher – Full of energy and tenacity, Gallagher has been effective in winning second balls. He has also picked out a couple of line-breaking passes, setting Savio free. 8.Mohammed Kudus – Very lively on the right, shrugging off Luke Shaw with powerful dribbling and running. He has been a handful, forcing United to double up on him. Came close after a Savio cutback and really should have scored, but fired wide. 7.5.Dominic Solanke – Had a chance early on after Bergvall pressured Kobbie Mainoo, but failed to convert the one-on-one, drawing a fine save. 5.Savio – A lively half from the wide forward, who has been direct and creative. He has consistently taken on his man and linked well with Udogie, creating one of Spurs’ better chances. 7.The post Tottenham first-half player ratings vs Man United as 8/10 duo deserve to be ahead appeared first on Spurs Web.
