There was at least one death on Friday night in Florida’s panhandle as a result of Hurricane Isaias hitting land.Chip Simmons, who is the Sheriff of Escambia County, confirmed on Saturday that there was a death related to the hurricane.Rescue units were sent to the home after a report of a fallen tree on Flagler Drive.Fire rescue found the woman on Friday evening, after 8pm, soon after the storm made landfall.The woman was inside her house, pinned under a tree. Authorities said she had no pulse and was unresponsive.Her death is the first one that is confirmed in Florida related to the hurricane.WFLA News 8 Reported:TAMPA, Fla.
