GTA 6 leaker threatens to upload a build with 'full story mode'

Wait 5 sec.

Cyberleek has been uploading footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 since August, most recently a 25-minute video featuring co-protagonist Jason totally nude. Given that GTA 6's November 19 release is just over a month away, on console at least, it seems natural that interest in these kinds of leaks would wane. Cyberleek has found a new way of generating hype: promising to leak a build of the game if their memecoin's marketcap goes up another $26 million or so."Here's the deal, nice and clean. CYBERLEEK hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out – full story mode, played to the end, credits and all. Don't believe it has full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it gets provided. Take-Two gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology. They can take it at any moment. Or they can gamble that CL is bluffing. Everyone knows which one they'll pick."The other half of the deal suggests that publisher Take-Two Interactive could prevent this by releasing GTA 6 physically and apologizing, presumably for not releasing it on discs in the first place. Which will never happen, but does fit with Cyberleek's previous history of cosplay Robin Hood consumer rights complaints. We know that Cyberleek has access to a playable build since one of the previous leaks ended with the word LEEK being machinegunned into a wall to prove the point. But an early build of GTA 6 seems like the worst possible way to play it on PC, though after the Xbox streaming thing turned out to be a bust, maybe there are people who don't want to wait? Personally I'm looking forward to a slow November where I might actually get a chance to catch up on this year's other releases, like The Blood of Dawnwalker and that Hellraiser game that just came out.Grand Theft Auto 6GTA 6 guide: Everything we knowGTA 6 PC release: When's it going to happen?GTA 6 editions: What's included at each price pointGTA 6 cars: The known garage lineupGTA 6 guns: Confirmed arsenal so far
