I wanted to build a small, cute character that reacted to my coding sessions. Then I kept adding things I actually needed. Usage tracking. Dangerous command warnings. Notifications. Multiple sessions. GitHub CI monitoring. And somehow, my little clay character now has 30 moods and 134 accessories you can unlock by coding. I called it Mochi. It's free, open source, and works inside Claude Code. This has been a really fun solo project, and I'm finally sharing it publicly.
