Anand Mahindra announced the successful creation of an engine patented by his grandfather J.C. Mahindra 108 years ago. The engine prototype was unveiled and started on Founders’ Day, six months after the patent's discovery. This discovery was made by Vaidehi Mayekar while organizing the company's archives and emphasized the company's engineering roots. The Mahindra Research Valley team interpreted the patent and created a working version of the engine.
