HOW-TO: See higher-timeframe harmonic patterns on your chartState Street SPDR S&P 500 ETFAMEX:SPYAuctionFoundryHow to see 2-hour harmonic patterns on a 30-minute chart, using SPY. Why use it A pattern that forms on a bigger timeframe is easy to miss on a smaller one. Its legs stretch across many candles, so it doesn't stand out. This setting draws those bigger patterns on the chart you already trade, so you can see both timeframes in one place. Turn it on 1. Add Auto Harmonic Patterns Pro HTF to your chart. 2. Open its settings (the gear icon next to the indicator name). 3. Tick "Project higher timeframes". 4. Leave the two timeframe boxes on Auto. On this 30-minute chart, Auto picked the 2-hour chart. 5. Optional: tick "Show higher-timeframe PRZ" to shade each pattern's reversal zone. 6. Optional: tick "Show higher-timeframe table" for a small summary table. 7. Click OK. How to read it - Higher-timeframe patterns are drawn with dashed lines. - Their label ends with the timeframe, for example "Bullish 5-0 · 2h". - The shaded box is the reversal zone: the price area where the pattern says a turn may start. - The small table on the right shows the latest higher-timeframe pattern, whether the trend before it fits, and whether it passed its checks. - The big table at the top covers only 30-minute patterns. Its entry, targets and stop are for those patterns, not the 2-hour one. On this chart - A Bullish 5-0 from the 2-hour chart finished near 770 on 8 Oct. - Prior trend: "Downtrend present". A bullish pattern should come after a fall, and this one did. - Setup checks: "Passed at confirmation". The pattern met its checks when it was confirmed. - Meanwhile the big table lists the 30-minute patterns on their own, so you can compare the two timeframes side by side. Good to know - A 2-hour pattern only shows once its 2-hour candle closes. It can appear up to two hours after the turn. - A pattern is drawn after it completes, never ahead of time. - The box is an area to watch, not a prediction. Look at how price behaves inside it before acting. - If no higher-timeframe pattern has completed, nothing extra is drawn. Not Financial Advice.
