What should a self-healing website be allowed to change?

Wait 5 sec.

I run Sonder Sites and I'm building Snowball around ongoing Shopify care. The bit I keep coming back to is what happens after launch. "Self-healing website" sounds great until you ask what it's actually allowed to touch. A broken link is one thing. A price, checkout or customer account is another. The approach I'm working towards is pretty boring on purpose: spot a problem, check it, get approval for the fix where needed, test the result and show what changed. I want a useful trail of evidence, not a dashboard full of green ticks. I'm not claiming a website can safely fix everything on its own. I'm trying to work out where automation earns trust and where a person should stay involved. If you were building this, what would you let it fix automatically? And what would always need your approval? Context, if useful: https://www.sondersites.com/living-website submitted by /u/SonderSites [link] [comments]
