Hi all, I'm an RN in Australia preparing for a clinical lead/coordinator interview and want to build stronger STAR examples. I'd really value hearing from those who've been in the role, or worked under good leaders. Three areas I'm focusing on: Managing conflict: staff disputes, doctor-nurse friction, family complaints Competing priorities: short staffing, bed pressure, escalations at the same time Leadership style: what works on a ward and what doesn't If you're happy to share: A situation that tested you, and what you did What you'd do differently What interview panels seemed to value most Rough stories are fine.
