Hi all. I'm restoring a 1990 Yamaha RZ50 (Japanese 50 cc two-stroke, same chassis as the European RD80LC) and a Sachs Lotus (a Portuguese moped). Three small parts are discontinued and nobody makes reproductions, so I'm looking for someone who can model them for FDM printing (STL, ideally also STEP/SCAD), or who already has files. Yamaha RZ50 battery cover, part no. 5R2-21731-00-00 ("Cover, Side 3") Flat plastic plate about 2.5-3 mm thick, roughly 130 x 85 mm. Irregular outline: hook tab with a notch at the top, long diagonal chamfer on one side, a 90-degree flange along the top edge, and one peg on the back for a rubber grommet (90480-12053-00). I have the original (worn). Yamaha RZ50 fuel tank flap, part no. 5R2-W2463-00-00 ("Cap Assembly"), also fits RD80LC Hinged, lockable lid that sits on top of the tank over the fuel filler cap. About 170 x 75 x 27 mm, flat top with chamfered long edges, sloped hinge end, round lock hole about 13 mm with a boss underneath, longitudinal ribs and a perimeter lip inside, two hinge tabs (M3 screws, hinge cover 5R2-24669-00-00). I have the original (worn, black). Sachs Lotus rear chain-guard bracket The short L/Z-shaped sheet-steel piece that bolts behind the long chain guard: an arm about 250-270 mm long and 40 mm wide with a 10 mm hole at the rounded tip, and at the other end a 90-degree jog with a tab carrying a 5.5 mm screw hole. Originally painted steel about 1.5-2 mm; a 3 mm PETG/ASA print is fine. I only have photos of this one. What I can provide: caliper measurements and top-down photos on millimetre paper for the two Yamaha parts, photos from several angles for the Sachs part, and the Yamaha parts diagrams. I already have rough parametric drafts (OpenSCAD and Python) made from photos, but they are estimates, so what I really need is proper modelling from measurements and a fit-tested result. Happy to pay a fair price for the work, or to buy files if you already have them. Based in Portugal, EU. Photos attached. Thanks! submitted by /u/brunofps [link] [comments]
