I run Gemnao, a site with PC game troubleshooting guides in English and Japanese. It covers launch problems, crashes, save files, and controllers. Here’s one example, with a few checks you can use straight away: https://gemnao.pages.dev/en/guide/pc-game-crash Note whether only the game closes or the whole PC restarts, and whether it happens at launch, while loading, or during gameplay. On Windows, press Win + R and enter perfmon /rel to open Reliability Monitor. Check the entry around the time of the crash. A faulting DLL is a clue, but doesn’t establish the cause by itself. Back up your saves before troubleshooting. Change one thing at a time and test the same scene where possible. Avoid downloading replacement DLLs from unfamiliar sites. The English homepage is here: https://gemnao.pages.dev/en If you were using the crash guide, is it clear what to try first and what to do if that step doesn’t help? I’d appreciate feedback on anything confusing. submitted by /u/Ok-Ideal311 [link] [comments]
