My first app flopped, so I rebuilt it around one question: "what do I put on the kids today?"

Wait 5 sec.

I'm Hazem, a vet by training with no coding background, building apps solo. Outfitcast v1 launched to almost no traction. My first Reddit post got 550 views and zero comments. "Weather app with outfit tips" turned out to be a feature, not a reason to switch. So I rebuilt v2 from scratch around one use case: the morning school run. What it does: - One-line daily verdict: what to wear and what to bring - Family alerts that name the person: "Jacket for Sam today", sent at the time you choose - Dust-aware advice, hourly + 7-day forecast, home and lock screen widgets - No account, no ads. English + Arabic - Free (3 cities, 2 alerts). Optional Pro for more Built with Expo / React Native, Apple Weather and RevenueCat. Biggest lesson: narrowing the audience taught me more than any feature I added. Question for you: what would make you open a weather app every morning? And is there a feature parents would miss?
