Juventus are continuing to watch Destiny Udogie’s situation at Tottenham carefully and have come to a conclusion on what Roberto De Zerbi’s side think of the left-back.After his first season at Tottenham, Udogie was considered by most Spurs fans to be one of the most valuable young players in the club’s squad. However, the 23-year-old has been dealing with one injury after another over the last two years, and continues to struggle to string games together. That has seriously halted the full-back’s development, and after starting just one of Tottenham’s five Premier League games this season, he was left out of Italy’s Nations League squad.Credit: @thefrederikkejensen / InstagramJuventus believe Destiny Udogie is no longer first-choice at TottenhamOver recent days, some Italian outlets have revealed that Juve are plotting a move for the Spurs defender in January, as they scour the market for a new left-back.A fresh update in TuttoJuve (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now claimed that Udogie’s situation is being ‘closely monitored’ by the Bianconeri ahead of the winter. The report suggests that the Old Lady are looking to build a squad dominated by Italian talent, and they see the Tottenham man as one of the most interesting profiles, capable of elevating their team. The feeling at the Serie A club is that Udogie is not considered a regular starter by Tottenham any longer. Juve are looking to take advantage of this, and they believe the defender could be available for just around €15m (£12.7m) in the upcoming transfer window.Roberto De Zerbi has made it clear he rates Udogie very highlyContrary to what Juve appear to believe, Udogie’s lack of minutes is mainly down to his fitness issues rather than a case of him not being rated. We know this, as De Zerbi has said that he believes Tottenham have the best group of full-backs in the Premier League. One would still think the 23-year-old would get the nod to start over Andy Robertson if and when he gets fully fit.It is possible that Tottenham’s patience could run out if Udogie’s injury issues continue, but it seems extremely unlikely that £13m is going to be enough to prise him away.READ MORE: Antonio Conte blasted for lack of ‘self-awareness’ over fresh Tottenham complaintsThe post Juventus think Tottenham will be open to selling Destiny Udogie for just £12.7m appeared first on Spurs Web.
