I’m building Daily Move VR: short seated and standing movement sessions with a coach

Wait 5 sec.

I’m building Daily Move VR at Extrude Studio. The idea is to make a short movement break easy to start: choose seated or standing, see a demonstration, follow spoken instructions, and know what to do next. It started with music-led hand targets. The current source also includes seated leg movement, small standing steps, mobility and gentle yoga-inspired sessions. There’s a four-week beginner path, smaller range/slower coaching, repeat instructions, selectable music and four environments. Progress is saved on the headset without an app account. The difficult part has been making the coach understandable: relaxed supporting limbs, feet/chair contact, clear transitions and enough time to watch before moving. Here’s the front/side coaching preview: https://youtu.be/MCjF3Peg74c The video is Unity desktop development footage with synthetic coach narration, not Quest recording or a full workout. Headset performance, beginner testing and exercise-content review are still ongoing. Lower-body form is not tracked, and there’s no public download or release date yet. Preview and development page: https://raheelswati.github.io/daily-move-vr.html If you own a VR headset, what would make you return to a short movement app: clear coaching, a beginner routine, music-led play or a calming space? I’d appreciate specific things you’ve found useful or frustrating. Developer disclosure: this is my project. submitted by /u/LeaderNo9727 [link] [comments]
