By the time London opened, there was nothing left to map. Price had already gone through every level above the pivot. So we are going straight into the New York session. What happened Last night we said we were in a squeeze, and that a squeeze usually ends with a breakout. It did, and it broke higher. Price broke R1, then one run took it straight through R2 and R3, and buyers carried it on to 4207 before sellers stepped in. For anyone trading through the night, there was a setup before the breakout. The hour closed above R1, the next hour retested it and held, and the run that followed went through R2 and R3. We were asleep for that one. The levels were not. We also said no first-touch trades at R3 today. Price went straight through it without stopping. That rule kept you off the wrong side of the biggest move of the day. Where we are now Price came back to 4170, held it, and is back above 4185. The top of today's map is now acting as support. 4204 is where sellers stepped in today. 4228 above it is the bigger resistance, where the bearish picture gets tested. 4170 holds: 4204 is back in view, then 4228.
