WWE Money in the Bank 2026 betting tips and predictions

Wait 5 sec.

WWE Money in the Bank 2026 could see several mid-card level talents take the next step, with the winners of the MITB briefcase getting the opportunity to ‘cash in’ at any time to get a World Championship match for 12 months. The Premium Live Event (WWE’s phrase for PPV) comes much later than usual, with the event having usually taken place around June/July. The card is looking decent for this Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, with both MITB ladder matches confirmed and three other matches that include Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Roman Reigns and LA Knight. If you’re planning to bet on the event, there’s a lot to consider beyond the odds. WWE’s scripted nature means that on-screen narratives and momentum matter just as much as a Superstar’s form or even fan support. Here, I’ll walk you through each major match, spotlight key betting angles, and help you make informed predictions ahead of one of the biggest nights in the WWE calendar.Men’s Money in the Bank ladder matchThe current odds-on favourite to win the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match is Bron Breakker.Breakker, a member of The Vision and one of the fastest rising stars in the company, is expected to be elevated to bonafide main event-level status pretty much yesterday, so giving him the briefcase and the opportunity to go for a World title over the next year does make sense, based on what has happened on WWE programming over the past few months. Penta is the second favourite, and he is an interesting one. Earlier this week, the Mexican luchadore was actually the leading favourite to get the briefcase this weekend, although this has now changed just days out from the event (correct as of Thursday, October 8th).While WWE has been eager to push more into the Mexican market with their purchase of the AAA brand last year and the run of recent shows in Mexico (including Penta challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship), it appears as though the bookies believe Breakker is getting the nod here. Here are the current odds from Betfred:Bron Breakker – 8/13Penta – 9/4Kevin Owens – 7/2CM Punk – 7/1Trick Williams – 9/1Je’Von Evans – 25/1 Back Bron Breakker to win the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase at 8/13 with Betfred Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matchIt’s a fairly similar situation with the Women’s MITB ladder match, with oddsmakers in the US making Lash Legend the favourite earlier this week, only to be overtaken by the Judgement Day’s Roxanne Perez. Perez has been on the main roster for some time now, joining the Judgment Day and teaming with Raquel Rodriguez.I personally think that Perez is a far more bankable (if you’ll pardon the pun) option here than Legend, because there is a lot that WWE can do in the coming months with Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan and Perez, seeing as Morgan is the defacto leader of the Judgment Day and Vaquer is the current Women’s World Champion.Lash doesn’t really have that sort of push going for her right now, so I don’t think this is the moment for her to be crowned Ms Money in the Bank. Here are the current odds from Betfred:Roxanne Perez – 2/7Lash Legend – 5/2Tiffany Stratton – 11/2Sol Ruca – 14/1Lola Vice – 14/1Jacy Jayne – 16/1 Back Roxanne Perez to win the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase at 2/7 with Betfred Bronson Reed vs. Oba FemiThis is an intriguing one, because while Oba Femi has been a dominant monster since his move up from NXT, Bronson Reed is someone who has just come back himself from injury, so a loss here seems like it could derail any early momentum he has. What I can see here is some sort of disqualification, leading to Femi winning the match, but Reed then not being pinned or submitted. It’s a bit of a tired trope, but it’s a way to put over the ‘babyface’ and keep the dominant ‘heel’ (Reed) look strong.Reed is a member of The Vision alongside Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Maxxine Dupri and Paul Heyman, so expect at least some of them to get involved in the match in Reed’s favour. Still, I see Femi getting the win via DQ, so he’s who I would lean towards. Here are the current odds from Betfred:Oba Femi – 2/7Bronson Reed – 5/2 Back Oba Femi to beat Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 at 2/7 with Betfred WWE Women’s World Title Triple Threat matchIntriguingly, there’s actually no major UK-based bookies who are putting odds on this match (as of writing).Still, I think that Stephanie Vaquer is going to retain the title in this match and Roxanne Perez is going to be teasing a cash-in either on this show or at some point in the next few months as WWE builds tension between her and stablemate Liv Morgan.WWE World Heavyweight Championship matchThis is the most lopsided of the odds on the card, with Roman Reigns expected to retain at 1/9.LA Knight seems to be turning into the bridesmaid and never the bride on the main roster, although the fan support for him in the live buildings has been building up again in the run up to this match.Unfortunately, this just feels like another notch on the bedpost that is Reigns’ rein, and while there will be some nearfalls and this will probably go 30-40 minutes, I fully expect Roman to walk away with the World Heavyweight Championship round his waist (because I don’t think he loses it till WrestleMania next year against Oba Femi). Here are the current odds from Betfred:Roman Reigns – 1/9LA Knight – 5/1 Back Roman Reigns to beat LA Knight at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 at 1/9 with Betfred The fight card in fullMoney In The Bank Ladder Match: Jacy Jayne vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend vs. Sol Ruca vs. Lola ViceMoney In The Bank Ladder Match: CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens vs. Penta vs. Bron Breakker vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von EvansBronson Reed vs. Oba FemiWWE Women’s World Title Triple Threat Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Liv MorganWWE World Heavyweight Title Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA KnightThe card for Money in the Bank has been confirmed for a couple of weeks now, with qualifying matches for both ladder matches having taken place across Raw and SmackDown. What’s new for this year’s Money in the Bank? This year’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event is the first time that the event has been moved to October, as it usually takes place in June/July time.Last year was the first time that Netflix had the event on live stream for International audiences, and this year is the first MITB since John Cena’s retirement from the company in December 2025.How to bet on WWEBetting on WWE events can be done through various sportsbooks like PaddyPower and Betfred, often listed under ‘Specials’ or ‘Entertainment’ sections.
