I've been working with Blender for a long time, but this was my first project where I seriously used Substance Painter. To be honest, I struggled since I didn't know the program, especially with texturing the engravings—lots of trial and error. Still, I managed to finish this space-themed Leica M3 Space piece. I tried to stay faithful to the astronaut and satellite engravings on the camera body. I added my own interpretation in areas like the weathering and leather color. I also included the reference images in the post, so it's easier for you to compare. I'd love to hear your advice on texturing and lighting. In particular, what do you think about the balance of the weathering and how well the lighting brings out the engravings? submitted by /u/EKDStudio [link] [comments]
