Sevvel inaugurated the event.Centred on the theme, ‘Beyond technology to meaningful clinical and patient outcomes,’ the programme provided a platform for clinicians to discuss advances in robotic-assisted surgery, share surgical experiences and explore how technology could be integrated for complex medical procedures.The programme featured an interactive session with robotic surgeons from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, who shared insights on robotic surgery across specialities, covering surgical precision, patient selection and clinical applications, a release said.Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai region, Ilankumaran Kaliamoorthy said as robotic surgery continues to evolve, the hospital would remain focussed on translating innovation into meaningful clinical value. The hospital’s approach has always been to build a clinical ecosystem, the release said.The hospital has established a comprehensive multi-platform robotic surgery ecosystem, with more than 10,000 robotic surgeries performed across specialities.
